The Nantucket Whalers (5-7) made their annual trip to Boston for a matchup with O'Bryant (7-3), and they were completely overmatched by a team that is currently in sixth place in the City League's southern division.

After three hours of traveling on ferries and buses, the Whalers arrived in Roxbury and were promptly blown out by the O'Bryant Tigers. The Tigers' full court press forced 11 turnovers in the first half alone as they jumped to a 38-21 lead.
